Mega IPOs from SpaceX and other AI leaders could add fresh momentum to markets, but they are unlikely to change the investment case overnight. Early trading often brings volatility as price discovery unfolds, and some of the strongest listings have seen pullbacks after their first-day pop before value is tied more closely to earnings power.
Index inclusion may create a short burst of demand, with modest buying pressure for new entrants and limited selling from funds making room. Even so, these effects should be temporary, while the bigger question remains whether each company can justify its valuation over time.
For investors, the key is discipline rather than chasing headlines. AI remains a compelling long-term theme, but exposure should be selective and balanced so no single stock or narrative dominates portfolio risk.
